JXN Community Forum

JXN Community Forum from 6:30 – 8:00pm at the Carnegie Library Auditorium.

The National Census has begun. Every person counted—or not counted—will impact the next 10 years of federal funds, political representation, public infrastructure and private investment. In the 2010 census, Michigan was the only state in the country to lose population. It was estimated that only 80% of Michigan’s population was counted. Topics covered include: the new ways you can complete the census, safeguards in place for protecting your information and the impact of NOT being counted in this important and historic event.
