High School Poster Contest

Due to Covid restrictions, the contest has been postponed and is planned for later in the year. Please check back for submission dates.

Women got the vote 101 years ago in 1920. This scholarship celebrates the Suffragists and the sacrifices they made for us. The League of Women Voters Jackson Area is hosting, and True Community Credit Union is sponsoring this poster contest.

Prizes

  • $500 First Prize
  • $200 Second Prize
  • $150 Third Prize

Contest Details

  • 12 by 18 – horizontal or vertical
  • Any media including digital
  • Original art – image Only
  • One poster entry per student
  • Submissions due: To be announced. This event is delayed due to Covid – 19.
  • Posters must be Nonpartisan (free from political bias or affiliation)
  • Posters will be judged on the strength of their graphic impact
